밥 존스와 릭 조이너의 서부 해안의 지진에 대한 샨 볼츠의 관점

 

나는 지금 많은 사람들에게 매우 민감한 사항인 릭 조이너와 밥 존스의 예언에 관해 쓰려고 한다. 나는 캘리포니아와 서부해안에 오게 될 지진과 해일, 그리고 핵 방사능 유출에 대한 소문들이 무수한 가운데 특별히 4월 1일에 밥 존스가 한국 교회에 보낸 메시지가 매우 강했다는 것을 알고 있다.

 

나는 릭 조이너를 사랑하고 밥 존스를 존경하지만 이 문제에 대해 다른 관점으로 보기를 원한다. 그들은 성숙하고 그 사실을 다룰 수 있다고 보지만, 나는 다른 관점을 내어 놓기 원하며 그들의 피드백을 언제든 환영할 것이다.

 

명백히 여러분 모두가 서부 해안에 머물러야 할지, 그러지 않아야 할지를 기도하고 결정해야겠지만, 나에게 있어서 그것은 매우 쉬운 결정이다. 나는 이미 하나님께로부터 들었고, 그러므로 어떤 큰 일이 일어난다면, 나는 그것을 위해 이 곳에 있을 것이다.

 

나는 밥 존스가 사람들에게 캘리포니아와 서부 해안을 떠나라고 그렇게 단호하게 말한 일을 전에 본 적이 없다. 이것은 그에게서 들은 어떤 예언적 말들보다 강한 말이다.

 

그래서 나도 단호하게 이것에 대해 말해야 함을 느낀다. 또한 나는 그의 말들이 많은 경우에 잘못 이해되어졌거나, 충분한 해석이 결여되었거나, 혹은 완전한 계시를 가지지 못한 것을 알고 있다.

 

예언자는 부분적으로 보기 때문에 어떤 것에 대해 두 세 사람이 같은 것에 대해 예언하고 분별하는 것이 보다 완전한 해석을 갖는데 도움이 되는 것이다.

 

밥이 1980년 대에 가졌던 예언의 말들이 있었다. 그것은 L.A폭동에 관한 것이었는데 실제로 그러한 일이 일어 났지만, 그것은 16개 블럭에 걸쳐 그 곳에 살거나 일하는 적게는 40,000에서 많게는200,000 명의 사람들에게 영향을 미치기는 하였지만, 그것을 잘못 해석하여 도시 전체에 폭동이 일어나고 세상의 끝날이 올 것처럼 공포를 준 것만큼은 아니었다.

 

말리부나 셔먼 옥스에 사는 사람들에게는 그 폭동이 아무런 영향을 주지 않았음에도 불구하고 그들에게까지 공포를 주는 결과가 된 것이다. 이것이 밥의 의도가 아니었지만, 이것을 통해 배우는 것은 예언은 신중하게 다루어져야 하며 과장되게 해석되어서도 안된다는 것이다.

 

 또 밥이 오렌지 카운티에도 L.A와 똑같은 폭동이 일어난다고 예언하였을 때, 오렌지 카운티에 있는 교회들이 무서워하였는데 그런 일이 전혀 일어나지 않았다는 것이다.

 

내가 알기로는 대지진과 방사능 오염에 관해 캘리포니아에 살고 있는 예언적 사람들에게는 하나님께서 아직도 구체적으로 말씀하시지 않았다는 것이다.

 

실제로 캘리포니아를 떠나야 한다고 하는 강도 높은 수준의 예언의 말씀을 주님께로 들은 자가 캘리포니아에 한 사람도 없다는 것이다.

 

 나는 지금 서부와 동부의 예언자들 사이의 전쟁을 일으키자는 것이 아니다.

 

밥 존스와 릭 조이너는 우리만큼 캘리포니아를 사랑하는 마음도 없고, 그들은 L.A와 캘리포니아에 수많은 죄악들이 일어나고 있다고 생각하고 있다.

 

그들 둘에게 캘리포니아에 대한 좋은 예언들은 아주 적다는 것이다. 문제는 중동에 있는 무슬림에서 구원받고 개종한 그리스도인이 이스라엘의 심판을 예언한다면 어떨까하는 것이다.

 

그의 예언이 디른 곳에서는 맞았다고 하더라도 그것을 들을 것인가? 나는 하나님께서 이스라엘 사람에게나 이스라엘을 사랑하는 미국 그리스도인들이나 다른 사람들에게 그런 예언의 말씀을 들려 줄 것이라고 생각한다.

 

내가 만일 릭 조이너가 살고 있는 포트 밀에 쓰나미가 닥칠 것이고 그들은 그 곳을 떠나야 한다고 예언한다면, 하나님께서 그 곳에서 일으키실 운동을 위해 그를 그 곳에 심으셨고, 하나님의 약속을 믿고 있음에도 불구하고 그가 떠날 것이라고 생각하지 않는다.

 

내가 알기로는 릭 조이너가 예언을 잘못 이해하거나 잘못 해석함으로 그와 그의 성도들이 두려움에 빠져 그들에게 주어진 온갖 놀라운 부흥의 약속을 저버리고 짐을 싸서 떠나는 어리석은 일을 할 것이라고는 믿지 않는다.

 

그것이 나에게도 동일하다. 나는 그들의 생각이 틀렸다고 하거나, 그들의 말들을 판단하고자 하는 것이 아니라 그들에 대해 몇 가지를 말하려고 하는 것이다.

첫째, 이러한 말들은 경고이지, 하나님으로 부터 온 약속이 아니다. 밥 존스가 몇 년 전에 L.A에 2010년에 쓰나미가 올 것이라고 예언하였지만, 그 해에 아무 일도 일어 나지 않았다. 그러나 주 정부에서는 그것을 준비하고 있었으며, 쓰나미 경고 판을 붙이기도 하였다.

 

그런데 밥의 말을 듣지 아니한 70명이 넘는 내가 아는 사람들이 쓰나미에 대한 꿈을 꾸었다. 그래서 전 캘리포니아 주에 기도 그룹을 조직하여 그것을 위해 기도하였고 다행히도 쓰나미는 오지 않았다. 주님을 찬양하자!

 

 

둘째, 하나님께로부터 온 예언은 많은 사람들을 공포에 빠지게 하고 혼란을 가중시켜서는 안되고 그것에 대한 관점과 소망을 주어야 한다고 본다.

 

수백 만의 사람들을 전략도 없이 따나라고 말할 수는 없는 것이다. 그것은 단지 어리석은 짓이다.

 

만약에 하나님께서 어떤 큰 재앙이 닥칠 것이기에 우리에게 떠나도록 자비를 베푸신다면, 밥이 예언한 것처럼 “아마 6개월 안에 쓰나미와 방사능이 당신들을 쓸어버릴 것이다”라는 막연한 말보다도 더 명백하고 방향을 알려주는 예언이 주어져야 했을 것이다. 밥의 가장 최근의 예언은 9월 11일 전에 이 곳을 떠나라는 것이다.

 

이것에 대해 할 수 있는 것은 모여 어떻게 해야 할 것인가에 대해 기도하는 것이다. 우리가 기도 외에 할 수 있는 일이 무엇일까? 아마 아무 것도 없을 수도 있고, 어떤 할 수 있는 일이 있을 수도 있다. 신약에 우리가 막을 수 없는 일이 있다고 기록된 곳이 있는가?

 

 

셋째, 하나님께로부터 오는 예언은 반드시 명백한 지침들을 동반해야 한다. 사도행전에서 아가보가 기근에 대해 예언하였을 때, 믿는 자들이 그들 뿐만이 아니라 그들이 살고 있는 작은 지역 사람들을 위해 충분한 음식을 준비해 놓았다.

 

그 기근은 100,000명에 못되는 사람들에게 미쳤고, 그들은 완벽하게 준비되어 있었다. 그런데 밥의 떠나거나 기도하라는 두 가지 선택뿐인 단순한 말은 명백하지 못하고 사도적인 준비가 되어 있지 못하다.

 

 

넷째, 하나님께서는 항상 힘든 장소들에 그의 군대를 배치시키신다. 이 곳에 머물러야 한다고 믿는 사람들은 어떤 무서운 일들이 일어 났을 때, 사람들을 도우도록 배치시킨 하나님 나라의 군대들이다.

 

우리가 어떤 것을 저장해 놓을 필요가 있다면, 그것은 그것을 필요로 하는 사람들을 위한 것이며, 이는 하나님의 나라가 확장되는 절호의 기회가 된다. 재난을 준비하고 많은 사람들을 돕고 추수할 절호의 기회이다.

 

 

넷째로, 밥이 나와 나의 친구들에게 작년에 말하기를 천사 우리엘이 캘리포니아의 양쪽 끝을 밟고 서서 교회가 기도하는 한, 하나님의 목적을 위해 캘리포니아를 붙들고 있다고 하였는데 이제 와서 지진과 함께 떠나라고 하니 나는 가능성 있는 지진보다 천사들의 방문을 기도할 것이다.

 

나는 무섭지 않고 그들을 사랑하지만, 그들의 말처럼 이 곳을 떠날 이유를 느끼지 않는다. 모두가 스스로 결정할 문제이다. 다시 말하지만 그것은 가능성이지, 하나님의 약속은 아니다.

 

우리는 그리스도인이며 우리는 폭풍을 향해 우리의 능력을 행사해야 한다. 그리고 나는 릭 조이너와 밥 존스를 거부하거나 그들이 잘못되었다고 말하는 것이 아니다.

 

단지 또 다른 관점을 이야기 함으로 우리가 어떻게 더 하나님의 말씀을 보다 더 잘 섬세하게 받을 수 있는가와 그들이 말한 것에 대해 어떻게 대처해야 할까를 말하는 것이다. 우리가 듣는 것보다 우리가 더 명석해져야 할 이유를 말하고 있는 것이다. 예수님 안에서, 샨 볼츠

I am going to write into the prophecies that have been going around from Rick Joyner and Bob Jones and I know this is very sensitive for many of you. I know the prophecies about California and the west coast having an Earthquake and nuclear melt down are all the buzz right now especially for those of you who received the most recent transcript from Bob Jones to the korean community last night which was very strong.

 

 

I love Rick Joyner and I adore Bob Jones, but I want to give a different perspective******* They are mature and can handle the fact that I am going to give an alternate view******* (and I welcome their feedback). Obviously you all need to pray and decide if you are supposed to stay on the West Coast or not, but for me it is a very easy decision, I have already heard God and therefore if something big does happen then I will be here for it.

 

 

I have never heard Bob so adamant about words before, he has actually told people to move away from California and the west coast. This is bolder then I have ever heard him on prophetic words. I felt I needed to address our stance on it.

 

 

I also know how many times his words have been misunderstood or didn’t have full interpretations or even full revelation. Prophets see in part, that is why it is helpful when 2 or 3 of them have these words so that you get a more full interpretation.

 

 

One series of words Bob got was in the 1980s. He saw rioting would break out in the streets of Los Angeles, and that there would be a curfew and that people would die in the streets. He called them race riots and he said that it would be so

 

 

dangerous in the streets that people wouldn’t leave their houses and that corporal punishment would be threatened. As we know this happened strongly, but not as strongly as the word put fear into people. The riots affected about 3 neighborhoods it was around 16 blocks, and about 40,000-200,000 people

 

living or working in those areas were affected by the actual riots-롸드니 킹?

This was not a city devastation that Christians in LA were planning for based on the word, as a matter of fact people in Sherman Oaks or Malibu never were affected by any of it except the sadness of the actual issue. There are 18 million here, and less then 200,000 were affected but the word felt like everyone could be doomed by the issue and the apocalypse was coming.

 

 

I am not saying that was Bob’s intention but because we are still learning how to give and receive words, there is much bad interpretation and little to no activation on what to do. Again not Bob’s fault but it can show you that the prophetic really needs stewardship.

 

 

Another thing to note about that particular word was when Bob gave that word he was in Orange County prophesying like it was LA, so even the church in Orange County was very scared for themselves and yet nothing happened even remotely close to them.

 

 

About the Earthquake and Nuclear fallout: ********God has not been speaking to anyone I know in California about this theme for now******* No one IN California or the west coast is getting these words on a level to suggest to people to actually move away. I am not trying to create a waring perspective between the west coast and east coast prophets but consider this:

 

 

*******Rick Joyner and Bob Jones don’t have a deep love for California and think it is a place where too much evil happens. Both of them have had little to no good prophecy for California. The problem with that is what if a Muslim got saved from the middle east and started prophesying disaster over Israel? Would we listen even if they were accurate everywhere else? I think God would rather use Israelis to prophecy about their future or America or someone who loves them.

 

 

If I began to prophecy over Fort Mills where Rick Joyner is from that there was a Tsunami coming and they should move, he would know because of what God has planted there for his movement that he would have to address the words. I know Rick enough to know that he would not stand for fear or for misinterpretation of possibilities to drive out the awesome thing they are believing for. It is the same for

 

me, I am not debunking Rick or Bob but I am judging their words and want to say a few things about them.*******

1) These words are not promises from God but they are warnings. Bob Jones

 

gave a warning several years ago about a Tsunami in LA hitting in 2010. There was not one, but in the natural we had the State prepare for one and put up Tsunami signs.

 

Over 70 believers here that I know began to have dreams about Tsunamis and most of them hadn’t heard Bob’s word. We began to pray and there was State wide prayer organized by several different organizations and the Tsunami didn’t come. Praise God!

 

 

2) Words from God should not cause mass panic and fear but perspective and hope: You can’t tell people by the millions to move away without strategy…this is just foolish. If God was really giving us a perspective of mercy to move away because some big devastation was going to happen, then we should have a clearer directive then “Move away nuclear power is going to wipe you out probably in 6 months.” Bob’s most recent words were to move away by September 2011*******. What we can do with this is ask God together on the west coast for strategy. What SHOULD we do besides prayer? Maybe nothing, maybe something. When has anything terrible been unavoidable in the whole New Testament?

 

 

3) Words from God should carry clear instruction: When Agabus prophesied a drought in Acts, it was so that the believers were ready and could store up enough food (not just for them but for their small region). This drought effected less then 100,000 people and they were completely prepared with strategy and understanding on what to do. The words Bob gave were not clear and had no apostolic preparation******* That means that the clearest way to respond is still intercession or moving. Those are the only two choices we were given by him.

 

 

4) God always has an army in the hardest places: Those of you who know you are supposed to be here, you are the army of the Kingdom who can help if something terrible does happen. That means you get to do relief and restoration and there is nothing like seeing the Kingdom move when there is so much need!******* Its amazing. I have done relief for over 20 years off and on, and God just shows up in the most beautiful way. Its a good time to do disaster preparedness and learn what is available in your city.

 

 

5) Other prophecies by Bob Jones: One word that Bob gave our friends just last year (and then repeated to us) is that the angel Uriel was standing over the plates in California with one foot on each side and holding them together and as long as the church would keep praying in God’s purposes we would be safe and he would hold them together.

 

 I don’t know what to do when he just gave that word and is now prophesying about the earthquake******* but I like the visitation of the angel better then the potential earthquake so we are praying with that.

I am not scared and I don’t feel I need to heed their warnings to move except to pray my guts out but I love them. Everyone has to decide for themselves. Again these are not promises from God they are potentials. We are Christians and we have to exercise power over the storms.

 

 

Also I am not rejecting Bob or Rick over my perspective nor am I saying they are wrong. I am just trying to give more perspective so we can be smarter in how we receive their words and what we do about what they are saying. We have to get a lot more intellegent about how we listen.
